Grizzlies fall to Cavaliers in Cleveland

The shorthanded Memphis Grizzlies fell to the Cavaliers 91-105 in Cleveland on Sunday. With the loss, the Grizzlies dropped to 21-6.

Memphis played without Zach Randolph who was out with a sore and swollen right knee. Tony Allen was also out with a right corneal abrasion.

Marc Gasol scored 23 and grabbed 11 rebounds for the Grizzlies. Jon Leuer added 16 points for Memphis.

The Cavs shot a season-best 61 percent from the field. Lebron James scored 16 of his 25 points in the second half. Anderson Varejao scored 18 and Kyrie Irving had 17 points and 12 assists for the Cavs.

Despite not having Allen and Randolph, the Grizzlies were still within 79-74 before the Cavs went on an 8-0 run to pull away. Dion Waiters scored 13 of his 21 points in the fourth quarter to help seal the victory for Cleveland.

The Grizzlies will face the Jazz on the tail end of a back-to-back Monday night in Memphis.
