MEMPHIS, April 28, 2011 – Game 6 of the Western Conference First Round Playoff series between the Memphis Grizzlies and San Antonio Spurs at FedExForum tomorrow, Friday, April 29 has sold out in record time, the team announced. Tickets went on sale at 10 a.m. this morning and were sold out in five minutes, the fastest sellout in franchise history.

Members of Grizz Nation who were unable to purchase tickets will still be able to watch the Grizzlies’ attempt at history on SportSouth, as Memphis looks to advance to the Western Conference Semifinals at 8 p.m. (CT). Game 6 coverage will feature the broadcast crew of play-by-play announcer Pete Pranica, analyst Sean Tuohy and sideline reporter Rob Fischer and will begin on SportSouth at 7:30 p.m. with the pregame show Grizzlies LIVE, followed by postgame coverage featuring Pranica, Tuohy and analyst Brevin Knight.

Fans are encouraged to join Grizz, the Grizz Girls, McDonald’s Claw Crew and Grizzlies inflatables for a Hard Rock Cafe Plaza Party beginning two hours prior to tip-off at 6 p.m. at FedExForum. All fans attending Game 6 will receive a Playoff Rally Towel.

Memphis, which leads top-seeded San Antonio 3-2, is one win away from becoming
the second eight-seed to knock off the one-seed since the NBA expanded the first
round to a best-of-seven series (Golden State over Dallas in 2007). The 2011
Grizzlies Playoffs are presented by First Tennessee and Toyota.
