Coach Dave Joerger to host preview dinner to benefit National Junior Tennis & Learning

Memphis Grizzlies Head Coach Dave Joerger will host the “Grizzlies Season Preview Dinner with Dave Joerger” on Oct. 23 at 6:30 p.m. at the Colonial Country Club (2736 Countrywood Pkwy, Cordova, TN 38016). This marks Coach Joerger’s second event benefiting National Junior Tennis & Learning (NJTL) on the heels of last year’s inaugural “Taste for Tennis”.

Event guests will be able to mix and mingle with Coach Joerger and his assistant coaches during a meet-and-greet style cocktail hour from 6:30-7 p.m., followed by dinner and commencement of the scheduled program at 7 p.m.

Grizzlies TV play-by-play announcer Pete Pranica will host a silent auction which will include sports memorabilia, Coach Joeger’s personal tickets to a Grizzlies home game, a golf outing at Colonial Country Club with Grizzlies assistant coaches, a pair of courtside seats to a Grizzlies game at FedExForum, a chance for up to 15 people to play a game on the Grizzlies practice court, among other items.

Tickets for the event are $100 in advance and $125 at the door. To register for the event, click the button below.

For more than a decade, Tennis Memphis has impacted the lives of Memphis’ youth through its NJTL Tennis Summer Camps, and with year-round youth development programming at municipal tennis centers and schools in the Memphis area. NJTL was envisioned and founded by tennis icon Arthur Ashe as a way to make tennis available to underserved youth.

Today, thousands of Memphis-area children who otherwise would never have set foot on a tennis court have benefitted from that vision. In addition to learning tennis, children are coached in academic excellence, life skills and leadership, and many of them ultimately attend college on tennis scholarships. Most importantly, they learn what it means to be good citizens.

The Grizzlies Ticket Sales department will have a table available on-site for any event guests wishing to purchase tickets for the upcoming season at FedExForum.
