Grizzlies assist in Memphis Habitat for Humanity build

Memphis Grizzlies players, coaches, executives and employee volunteers participated in a Habitat for Humanity of Greater Memphis build day to help build four houses in the Bearwater Park neighborhood. The Grizzlies volunteer team painted, landscaped, and installed siding and hardware on four new homes alongside future Memphis Habitat homeowners. The build day helped complete homes that were under construction during Habitat for Humanity’s 2016 Jimmy & Rosalynn Carter Work Project, which was held in Memphis in August. Those homes will be completed by the end of October and will be sold to qualified homebuyers through Habitat’s affordable mortgage program.
