Grizzlies guard Xavier Henry injury update

MEMPHIS, March 2, 2011 -The Grizzlies announced today that rookie guard Xavier Henry will be sidelined for the next four weeks as he continues his rehabilitation for a right knee sprain. He will be re-evaluated after that time.

The 6-6, 220-pound guard has missed 12 games this season, including the last four-in-a-row, due to right knee soreness. He scored four points in eight minutes in his latest appearance on Feb. 22 at Denver.

The 19-year-old, selected with the 12th overall pick in the first round of the 2010 NBA Draft, is averaging 4.3 points and 1.0 rebounds in 13.9 minutes in 38 games (16 starts) in his first NBA season after spending one year at the University of Kansas.
