Grizzlies recall James Ennis and Jarell Martin from Iowa Energy

The Memphis Grizzlies recalled forward James Ennis and forward Jarell Martin from the team’s NBA Development League affiliate, the Iowa Energy, Grizzlies General Manager Chris Wallace announced today.

Ennis (6-7, 210) has averaged 20.0 points, 6.7 rebounds, 2.1 assists and 1.00 steals in 38.1 minutes in seven games (all starts) over six assignments with the Energy this season. The 25-year-old out of California State University, Long Beach also has posted 1.4 points in 4.3 minutes over eight appearances with the Grizzlies and Miami Heat this season, his second in the NBA.

Martin (6-10, 239) has recorded 12.8 points, 5.0 rebounds and 1.5 assists in 27.5 minutes in four games (three starts) over three assignments to Iowa. The 21-year-old from Louisiana State University has totaled two points in nine minutes through two appearances during his rookie season with the Grizzlies.
