On Wednesday, the Cavs officially unveiled the restored spaces, hosting approximately 100 kids from Fairfax and the local community. Team PA announcer Olivier hosted the event, featuring Cavaliers Legends, Austin Carr, Larry Nance and Campy Russell. Cavs CEO Len Komoroski, Rust-Oleum Senior Director of Integrated Communications, Lisa Bialecki, the City of Cleveland's Commissioner of Recreation, Sam Gissentaner, and Mayor Frank G. Jackson, all spoke about the project.

After the official ribbon cutting, the Legends and VIPs interacted with the kids in the fresh spaces, both outside on the playground and inside on the new court. Those in the gym were able to take part in a free basketball mini-clinic, led by Cavs Academy. Members of the Cavalier Girls, Scream Team and Q Spirit Squad were also on hand to entertain the kids in attendance. Giant Eagle provided the kids with water and snacks.
