Cavs Brighten Our Lady of the Wayside Location

The teams of Quicken Loans Arena – the Cleveland Cavaliers, Lake Erie Monsters and Cleveland Gladiators – have teamed up with Our Lady of the Wayside to help provide a more comfortable and welcoming environment for the Northeast Ohioans they serve.

As part of the partnership, the Cavs, Monsters and Gladiators have refurbished the Garfield Heights Pathways location of Our Lady of the Wayside, which was unveiled with a special ribbon-cutting on Tuesday.

President of Our Lady of the Wayside, Terry Davis, was joined by the President of Business Operations for the Cleveland Cavaliers and Quicken Loans Arena, Kerry Bubolz, to officially reveal the newly-renovated space. In-arena host Ahmaad, the Cavalier Girls, Scream Team, Q-Squad and Sir C.C. were all on-hand to interact with the OLW clients in attendance. While seeing the fresh space for the first time, the OLW clients were also able to enjoy playing games with and performances by the Cavs entertainers.

The Q teams redid the floors of the Garfield Heights facility, as well as repainted the walls, upgraded the lighting, and added a Cavs, Monsters and Gladiators flair to it. As part of the partnership between The Q teams and Our Lady of the Wayside, the teams will refurbish two more facilities in the future.
