R.J. Teachers Yoga to Fourth Graders

After a hard-fought win against Oklahoma City on Thursday night, Cavaliers player Richard Jefferson was able to unwind and relax with yoga on Friday. Lucky for one fourth grade class, they were able to join him!

Jefferson joined instructors from Inner Bliss Yoga Studio to host a private yoga session at Cleveland Clinic Courts for approximately 30 students from Henry Defer Intermediate School in Streetsboro. The fourth graders participate in the Cavs’ year-round “Fit as a Pro” program, presented by Medical Mutual and Giant Eagle. Throughout the yoga class, the students focused on having strong bodies, open hearts and becoming Fit as a Pro.

There was also another special guest that took part in the session: the team’s very flexible mascot, Moondog. He demonstrated his best downward facing dog for the students!

Feeling agile and refreshed, all of the students went home with their very own Cavs-branded yoga mat.

Namaste from Richard Jefferson, Moondog and the Cavaliers!
