Cavaliers Hold Open Call National Anthem Auditions for 2015-16 Season

OH, SAY CAN YOU SING? The Cleveland Cavaliers are holding open call national anthem auditions to find talented vocalists to perform during the 2015-16 season. Auditions will be held on a first come-first served basis on Saturday, August 29th between 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. at Quicken Loans Arena.

Interested solo performers, or groups no larger than a quartet, are asked to come prepared to sing a traditional, a cappella rendition of “The Star-Spangled Banner” within a 90-second time frame. Candidates are also asked to bring a recent headshot.

There are no age restrictions to try out, but performers under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. All auditions will be taped and considered for future live performances. Choirs or groups larger than a quartet are asked to visit Cavs.com/groups for more information on national anthem performance opportunities.

Performers should enter through the Arcade Entrance (located near The Q’s main Box Office at the corner of East 6th and Huron) of Quicken Loans Arena between 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 29th.
