Despite last night's loss to the Hawks, the Wine and Gold shot 19-46 (.413) from the three-point line, increasing their franchise record to 1,043 threes on the season (3rd-most by any team in NBA history). In 2016-17, Cleveland also has franchise records for three-pointers per game (13.0), number of games with at least 10 three-pointers (63 times), 15 three-pointers (27 times) and 20 three-pointers (4 times).

The Wine and Gold's visit to Miami has not fared well as of late with the Cavs last win at AmericanAirlines Arena coming on January 25, 2010.

Things don't get any easier for Cleveland as they will be without three starters (Kyrie Irving - Left Knee, LeBron James - Right Calf, Tristan Thompson - Right Thumb) and possibly a fourth (Kevin Love - Illness).

Miami enters Monday's matchup fighting for their Playoff lives with a 39-41 record, tied with the Chicago Bulls for the eighth and final Playoff spot in the Eastern Conference with Chicago holding the tie-breaker.

The Heat are led by their inside-outside tandem of big man Hassan Whiteside and point guard Goran Dragic.

Whiteside is 5th in the NBA with 56 double-doubles and is having a career year – averaging 16.8 points, 14.0 rebounds and 2.0 blocks per game in his fifth year out of Marshall.

Dragic, the Heat’s leader in scoring (20.3), assists (5.8) and steals (1.3) comes into tonight’s contest averaging 19.7 points and 5.0 assists in three games against the Wine and Gold this year.
