Cavaliers and WTAM 1100 AM Extend Broadcast Partnership Through 2007-08 Season

CLEVELAND, September 20 - WTAM 1100 AM will continue to be the official radio broadcast partner for the Cleveland Cavaliers through the 2007-08 NBA season. The Cavaliers radio network, led by WTAM, is the NBA’s third largest (16 stations) and will air all preseason (8), regular season (82) and post season Cavalier games. Entering a remarkable 34th season as the “Voice of the Cavs,” Joe Tait will again handle every game broadcast with his one of kind combination of game analysis and play-by-play calls, including his assortment of well known action calls such as "Wham with the right hand!" and "Got it!" WTAM Sports Director Mike Snyder will host the pre-game, halftime and post-game shows.

WTAM will continue to air the weekly call-in show with Cavs Coach Mike Brown, which will begin on Thursday, October 6th at 7:00 p.m. and run through the post season.

Beginning on Monday, October 31st at 8:45 a.m. and daily (Mon.-Fri.) on the Wills and Coleman Show, Coach Brown, Joe Tait and other front-office members will call-in to talk about Cavs basketball.
