Cavaliers Announce Summer League Roster

CLEVELAND, OH - July 10th, 2009 - The Cleveland Cavaliers have assembled a summer league team of free agents, young veterans and Cavaliers 2009 draft picks Christian Eyenga (30th overall) and Danny Green (46th overall) to participate in the 2009 NBA Summer League, Cavaliers General Manager Danny Ferry announced today.

The 2009 NBA Summer League will be held July 10-19 in Las Vegas, NV with the Cavaliers playing a five-game schedule at the COX Pavilion and Thomas & Mack Center on the campus of the University of Nevada-Las Vegas. This marks the sixth consecutive year that the Cavaliers will compete in the League.

The Cavaliers will open summer league play with back-to-back games on Saturday, July 11th against the NBA Champion Los Angeles Lakers and Sunday, July 12th versus the Milwaukee Bucks. In their only game at the Thomas & Mack Center, the Cavs take on the Washington Wizards on July 14th. Cleveland will close summer league by playing on two consecutive days, facing off against the Dallas Mavericks on July 16th and the Detroit Pistons on July 17th.
