CLEVELAND, Ohio -- LeBron James is apparently getting a jump on his pre-training camp workouts for the 2015-16 season with the Cavaliers in Miami, under the direction of one or two personal trainers.

David Alexander, a Miami-based personal trainer for several pro athletes who is also business partner and personal trainer for James' wife, Savannah, posted a picture to his Instagram account Friday of himself, James, restricted free agent guard Norris Cole, and James' personal trainer Mike Mancias.

The caption of Alexander's post read "Such Amazing (sic) energy in the facility this morning! Everyone going hard and focused." - CLICK HERE to read full story.

Cleveland Cavaliers forward LeBron James is still on top.

Sports Illustrated today released the final part of their 'Top 100 players of 2016' NBA player rankings and once again, the magazine named LeBron the league's top player. Ranked No. 2 is Oklahoma City Thunder forward Kevin Durant, while New Orleans Pelicans forward Anthony Davis came in at No. 3. Rounding out the top-5 are Golden State Warriors guard Steph Curry and Houston Rockets guard James Harden, who came in at No. 4 and No. 5 respectively.

SI put LeBron at the top of its list partly due to his sensational playoffs. With Kyrie Irving and Kevin Love both hurt, James was the driving force behind the Cavs making the NBA Finals and he accounted for 52 percent of the Cavs offense - more than 10 percent more than what Curry and Harden accounted for on their respective teams. - CLICK HERE to read full story.

University of Akron enlists LeBron's help for branding campaign

The University of Akron is launching an ambitious branding campaign — one that eventually will get a lift from one of the world's most prominent superstars, LeBron James — in hopes of reversing several years of enrollment declines that have threatened the future of the institution.

On Sunday, Sept. 6, the university will launch the first wave of the effort on television — dubbed the “Are you out there?” campaign — with an emotional, two-minute spot airing regionally on WOIO, WEWS and WKYC. The spot doesn't so much focus on the university's new designation as “Ohio's polytechnic university,” but rather attempts to explain, with some Midwestern grit, the polytechnic experience rather than the meaning of the word that has caused confusion for so many.

“Our legacy makes us unafraid to invent and reinvent,” the narrator in the commercial says. “We were the kids who wore skinned knees with pride. We are the builders of kingdoms. We are opening doors and learning to fly. We asked "why?' and "why not?' Are you with us?” - CLICK HERE to read full story.
