CLEVELAND, Ohio -- It can be seen in a handful of ways. Sometimes it's easy to spot. Other times it requires a closer look.

His decision to invite Jordan McRae and Iman Shumpert to workout with him in Miami over the summer; animated in-timeout discussions with teammates about offensive sets or defensive slipups; a devious plan to douse LeBron James with water after James became the youngest player in NBA history to reach 27,000 points; swallowing his pride and cheering on teammates from the bench when head coach Tyronn Lue decided to stay with an unconventional closing lineup earlier this season; post-game outfits, ditching an old look for a more mature, dressier ensemble, even wearing a jacket and tie at times.
