LeBron James says NBA only has 'problem' with stars resting when he sits

LOS ANGELES -- LeBron James disagrees with NBA commissioner Adam Silver's memo demanding that team owners be involved with decisions to rest star players, and said the league is only calling it a "problem" because he's sat out a couple times this month.

"I love what Adam is doing for our league, but I don't see how that (would help)," James said Tuesday. "I don't understand why it's become a problem now, because I sit out a couple games?"

When a reporter suggested to James that Silver's reasons for sending the memo may stretch beyond his not playing in Cleveland's 30-point loss in a national TV game against the Clippers on Saturday, James disagreed. - CLICK HERE to read full story.

LOS ANGELES -- This is the worst season of LeBron James' career from the foul line, and he knows it.

"Yeah it's killing me, it's killing me," James said Tuesday, before the Cavs practiced at the University of California-Los Angeles. They play in Denver Wednesday.

James is 301-of-445 from the foul line this season for a shooting percentage of .676. He's only been under .700 one other time in 14 seasons, when he shot .698 from the line in 2006-07. - CLICK HERE to read full story.

LOS ANGELES -- Kyle Korver (sore left foot) fully participated in practice Tuesday and the Cavs' media relations staff said his status for Wednesday's game in Denver would be updated in the morning.

Korver hasn't played since March 6 because of inflammation on the outside of his left foot. He's missed the last seven games, and Saturday night told cleveland.com he was still experiencing pain.

Korver is averaging 11.1 points and shooting .487 from 3-point range since joining the Cavs Jan. 7. - CLICK HERE to read full story.
