OAKLAND, Calif. -- The Cavaliers can leave the Bay Area believing they've played nowhere near their best and worrying whether it would've been enough if they had.

The Golden State Warriors again overwhelmed Cleveland in the Finals, this time 132-113 in Game 2 to take a commanding lead in this series.

The Warriors of course blew a 2-0 lead to the Cavs last season. But that team didn't have Kevin Durant. As LeBron James established after the 22-point loss in Game 1, Durant in Warrior colors makes a big difference.

OAKLAND, Calif. -- There was plenty of chatter about changes the Cleveland Cavaliers could make going into Game 2, how much better they could play after countless blunders at both ends of the floor. But there was also a dirty little secret the Warriors were keeping: They could play much better too.

OAKLAND -- After another unhappy game in the NBA Finals, the Cleveland Cavaliers' bus drove them down the freeways and out of this gritty city, heading toward a flight home.

By then, the sun had set here and across the bay in the glamorous, pastel and wedding cake white city of San Francisco, where most visiting NBA teams stay, including the Cavs.

Perhaps it is setting on the Cavs' one-year empire too.
