"ABOUT DAVID BLATT, PART ONE
One of the dumbest reports was that David Blatt was advised to take the job as Golden State's top assistant compared to being head coach of the Cavs. The implication was that Blatt would follow that route.

OK, let's say the report was accurate, someone told Blatt to do that.

But think about it for a moment. Blatt is 55. He never coached a game for a U.S. college or NBA team. He has a chance to come from Europe and take an NBA head coaching job -- one of only 30 in the world?

Of course, he takes it." - CLICK HERE to read full story.

"CLEVELAND, Ohio – Earlier this week, the point guard for Maccabi Tel Aviv got married. This is big news. In a small country like Israel, just after its most heralded basketball team won the Euroleague championship, the marriage of Yogev Ohayon is the kind of thing that everyone is interested in and everyone wants to attend.

But Ohayon's wedding served mostly as a backdrop for everyone to discuss the real big news of the moment: David Blatt is going to be the head coach of the Cleveland Cavaliers." - CLICK HERE to read full story.

Jason Lloyd: David Blatt’s biggest victory must come in the locker room
Author: Jason Lloyd
Publication: Akron Beacon Journal

"The biggest challenge facing David Blatt won’t be learning NBA personnel, the nuances of the game or even his own players’ names. Before he gets to that, before he worries about installing a defense and running offensive sets, the new coach of the Cavs must first win the locker room. It will be an ongoing battle from now until next April and beyond.

The NBA offseason hasn’t really started yet and there’s still plenty of time to change this roster, but as it is currently constructed, the Cavs have a locker room that at times has appeared to quit on its last two coaches.

At some point, it stops becoming a coaching issue and starts becoming an attitude issue." - CLICK HERE to read full story.
