Cavaliers announce Cedi Osman signing

CLEVELAND -- The Cavaliers announced the signing of 22-year-old Turkish forward Cedi Osman, a rookie in the NBA who's spent his entire career in Europe until now.

Though the team does not disclose the details of its contracts, Osman signed a three-year deal worth $8.3 million. Cleveland is also paying $700,000 toward Osman's $1 million buyout of his contract with Anadolu Efes, his Turkish club.

Osman, who is 6-8 and 215 pounds, played for Anadolu Efes for five seasons. He averaged 7.1 points and 2.8 rebounds in the Euroleague. In Turkish Basketball League play (lesser competition), he averaged 13.2 points and 4.1 rebounds. - CLICK HERE to read full story.
