CLEVELAND, Ohio -- The Cleveland Cavaliers spoke about the challenges of playing the first game following a lengthy road trip, pointing to tired legs and taking time to get back in rhythm after resting the day before.

That showed early, as the young Denver Nuggets got off to a fast start. It was a close game at halftime, but the Cavaliers ignited in the third quarter, cruising to a 125-109 win.

CLEVELAND: Uncle Drew will soon be getting buckets on the big screen. Kyrie Irving confirmed to the Beacon Journal on Saturday that his character, Uncle Drew, will star in a feature length movie.

Irving confirmed Variety’s report on his way out of the locker room prior to the Cavaliers’ game against the Denver Nuggets and provided no other details. Variety reported that Temple Hill Entertainment has acquired the rights, Jay Longino will write the script and the movie will, of course, star Irving in the role he created as the elderly man he made popular in Pepsi Max commercials. - CLICK HERE to read full story.

LeBron James, Cavs convert built-in advantages in beating Nuggets 125-109

CLEVELAND -- For as much as the circumstances were stacked against the Cavs in Oklahoma City the other night, they were aligned in their favor Saturday against the Nuggets.

All Cleveland had to do was not trip over its own feet, which it accomplished more or less in a 125-109 victory.

The Cavs are the NBA's second-best team at home (23-5), where they were playing for the first time after a four-game road trip.
