CLEVELAND, Ohio –LeBron James was in the giving spirit and Dion Waiters was in attack mode. Together it translated into the Cavaliers routing the Memphis Grizzlies, 105-91, at The Q on Sunday.

James had nine assists at the half, illustrating how he was in the table-setting mood from the onset. He finished with 25 points and a game-high 11 assists.

CLEVELAND, Ohio – LeBron James scored seven of his game-high 25 points in the fourth quarter of a 105-91 win over the Memphis Grizzlies.

What was supposed to be a measuring-stick game for the Cavaliers -- against a Grizzlies team with the NBA's second-best record -- morphed into a game where Cleveland was clearly the better team because of injuries to Memphis starting power forward Zach Randolph and reserve forward Tony Allen.

Cleveland is 26th in the league in opponent field goal percentage. Teams are shooting 47 percent against the Cavaliers. That's what head coach David Blatt has an issue with.

James had his way, shooting 9-of-15 from the field and contributing 11 assists. He had help, especially in the fourth quarter, from Dion Waiters, who finished with 21 points off the bench. - CLICK HERE to read full story.

Cleveland Cavaliers' guard Kyrie Irving named USA Basketball Male Athlete of the Year

CLEVELAND, Ohio – After helping Team USA win the gold medal at the FIBA World Cup over the summer, on Sunday Cavaliers' point guard Kyrie Irving was named the 2014 USA Basketball Male Athlete of the Year.

The USA Basketball Board of Directors made the selection.

Irving took home tournament MVP honors after starting all nine games for the undefeated Team USA squad. He averaged 12.1 points, 2.6 rebounds, 3.6 assists and 1.9 steals in 24.4 minutes a game. - CLICK HERE to read full story.
