CLEVELAND, Ohio – Wednesday night at The Q was anything but a preview for this weekend's playoff game between the Cleveland Cavaliers and Detroit Pistons. In fact, it was the exact opposite.

It was the same teams that will battle it out in a best-of-seven first-round series, but the faces were not the same as the Pistons won 112-110 in overtime in the season finale.

Jodie Meeks led Detroit (44-38) with 20 points.

Cleveland (57-25) gave LeBron James, Kyrie Irving, Kevin Love and J.R. Smith the night off. Even Tristan Thompson sort of took it off. He started the game, but was removed four seconds later. He committed a foul and was subbed out in order to extend his league-high consecutive games played streak to 370. - CLICK HERE to read full story.

CLEVELAND, Ohio -- The Cleveland Cavaliers and Detroit Pistons capped their regular season on Wednesday night. And they will meet once again this weekend.

The stakes, however, will be much different. So, too, will the players on the court. Wednesday's regular season finale was anything but a playoff preview.

Cavs head coach Tyronn Lue decided to rest four of his five starters -- only playing Tristan Thompson for four seconds so he could extend his consecutive games played streak to 370, which is a franchise record and the league's longest current run. - CLICK HERE to read full story.
