“And now the starting lineups for your Cleveland Cavaliers!” And with those nine words Cavs PA announcer Ronnie Duncan whips the Q into a frenzy. It’s a dream job for any Cavs fan, and kids, it could be yours!
The Cavaliers are giving kids ages 8-12 the opportunity of a lifetime! You can introduce the team in front of thousands of screaming fans. Imagine sitting at the scorers’ table yelling out the names of your favorite Cavaliers. You’ll also be introducing the visitor’s starting lineup.
The Cavaliers will select one lucky winner for each participating game. The winner will receive the announcer job for the starting lineups, 4 tickets to the game, and a Cavaliers fan pack. Everyone that enters will receive a Cavs team poster.
To apply for the job, send in an audio or video (preferred) tape of yourself doing the Cavaliers starting lineups. Print the script found on this page and give us your best performance. A Cavaliers panel of judges will determine the winners on presentation skills, clarity of voice and pronunciation.
