Cavaliers Present 2006-07 Straight A All-Stars

Cleveland, Jan. 9th - The Cleveland Cavaliers’ Straight A All-Stars program presented by Westfield Insurance is set to review the second grading period for the school year to reward students for high scholastic achievement. The program is open to all elementary and middle school students, grades K-8 in Cuyahoga, Lorain, Summit, Medina, Portage, Geauga, Lake and Ashtabula counties. Any student who receives straight A’s for the upcoming grading period is eligible to enter the contest.

After the grading period, the Cavaliers will randomly select 250 Straight A students to receive two tickets to the Cavaliers vs. Toronto game on March 3, 2007 at Quicken Loans Arena. All entrants will receive an official Straight A All-Stars certificate and book cover.

To enter, students can visit the Straight A All-Stars page of for the registration form and to view the official rules. The registration form along with the current grading period report card can be faxed to (216) 420-2101 or mailed to Straight A All-Stars, One Center Court, Cleveland, Ohio 44115 All entries must be received no later than Friday, February 9, 2007.

The Cavaliers received over 1,500 entries for the first grading period. The randomly selected 250 students attended the Cavs. vs. New Jersey Nets game on January 6th.
