(On Kyrie Irving’s play as of late): “I think health-wise, he’s great. I think he’s 100 percent. I still think he’s trying to get his legs back a little bit. I think he did a great job tonight of calling the sets. We did a good job of getting into slice and punch and calling the set when we didn’t have early transition. He did a great job tonight and we had a better flow with that also.”

(On tonight’s win): “We came in as professionals and took care of business. We knew it was a dangerous team if you allowed them to be dangerous. They put up a lot of points and our coaching staff gave us a great gameplan and we followed as close to 48 minutes as we’ve done in a while.”

(On dishing out 12 assists tonight): “Just getting up in transition, seeing guys run to corners, guys making backdoor cuts as I’m attacking the rim. Just trying to do a good job of finding guys and I feel like the past few games just trying to hit guys in their shooting pockets. A few have fallen and a few haven’t. It’s just the nature of the game but for me it’s continuing to attack downhill, draw two, and draw as many defenders as I can and get open shots for my teammates.”

(On how much the team has picked up the offense under Coach Lue): “I think it is in the process and it’s ongoing. He wants us to play with tempo; but when we don’t have it, he wants us to execute. He wants us to get the ball moving from side to side and a habit that we need to break away from which is not playing on the strong side as much. If we don’t have anything, then we need to get it moving and try to execute on the other side as well. We have been playing every other day and that means we haven’t had much time to practice, but watching the game film after every game will help us.”
