‘Tis the Season of Giving!

Cleveland Cavaliers and Lake Erie Monsters fans can help underserved children throughout the Northeast Ohio community enjoy the magic of the holiday season by donating new, unwrapped toys to the 2012 Cavaliers and Monsters Holiday Toy Drive from November 16th through December 15th.

At every Cavaliers and Monsters home game starting with the Monsters vs. Grand Rapids game on Friday, November 16th, fans can drop off new toys at collection bins located at every entrance of Quicken Loans Arena. In addition, the public is invited to drop off toys at Quicken Loans Arena at the Cavaliers Team Shop during regular business hours (Monday - Friday 12:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.; Saturday 10:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.) and receive a 10% discount!

At the conclusion of the Toy Drive, the Cavaliers and Monsters will host a festive holiday party where Cavs and Monsters players, as well as members of the Cavs game entertainment teams, will present the toys to children from designated agencies.

“The Cavaliers and Monsters are always proud to add some extra cheer to the holidays for those families who really need it,” said Cavaliers President Len Komoroski. “The outpour of support from the community for our annual Toy Drive has always been incredible. These types of programs give us a chance to create holiday memories for our community – memories that they’ll never forget.”
