This past weekend, the Jr. Wheelchair Cavaliers traveled to Fort Wayne, IN to play in their first basketball tournament of the 2013-14 Season.
After losing their first game, 28-18, to the Peoria Wildcats, the team bounced back to beat the host team, Turnstone Flyers, 16-14 in a nail-bitter.
The team couldn’t get anything to drop in the third game losing to the RHI Racers.
In the final game of the weekend, the team played tough, but couldn’t overcome a few last minute turnovers and lost 22-10.
The team is currently 1-3 overall going into their next tournament on January 18th-19th in Indianapolis, IN.
