Cavaliers Players Delonte West, Jawad Williams and Danny Green Spend Evening Out to Dinner with Underprivileged Children from Berea Childrens Home

CLEVELAND, OH - March 11, 2010 - Cavs players Delonte West, Jawad Williams and Danny Green spent the evening of Wednesday March 10th having dinner with 25 underprivileged children from the Berea Children’s Home at Maggiano’s restaurant in Beachwood. The players shared some great food and conversation about their own life’s lessons on and off the basketball court.

Allison Byrd, principal of Roxboro Middle School also spoke to the children about the importance of manners and etiquette at the dinner table. The children and players were then given the opportunity to ask questions to Maggiano’s Executive Chef, Brian Clark, who discussed ways to earn a degree from various culinary schools and stressed the importance of finishing school.

Maggiano’s special guests were served a three course meal starting with Mozzarella Marinara and Chicken Parmesan and ending with N.Y Style Cheesecake.
