MISSION STATEMENT
Wizards Care is the community service program of the Washington Wizards. The entire organization--from team owners Irene and Abe Pollin to players, coaches and employees--is committed to investing time and resources to Wizards Care. By providing assistance to the youth, homeless and underserved in the D.C. metropolitan area, Wizards Care hopes to inspire others to do the same.

Capital Area Food Bank

One Million Meals
On Wednesday, Wizards Head Coach Flip Saunders presented a check for one million meals to the Capital Area Food Bank on behalf of Wizards Care and Abe’s Table. The money for the meals was raised during last season’s Wizards Care Telethon.

Day of Caring: Clagett Farm
On Wednesday and Thursday, members of Washington Sports and Entertainment volunteered at Clagett Farm in Upper Marlboro, MD for the Wizards Day of Caring. Clagett Farm provides fresh produce for the Capital Area Food Bank. This season, Wizards Care raised over $350,000 that went to the Capital Area Food Bank, which provided over a million meals to the area’s hungry. More: Photos | Video
Wizards Care Taste of 11
Wizards Care hosted the second annual "Taste of Eleven" luncheon on Wednesday from 12:00 p.m.- 2:00 p.m. at Verizon Center as a way to continue to thank area neighbors and businesses for their support over the past 11 years. More: Photo Gallery | Video Highlights
Caron's 3D to Succeed
For the 2nd year -- Caron Butler and the Washington Wizards invite 11-18 year olds in the Washington DC Metropolitan area to use Caron's 3Ds – Dedication, Determination and Discipline -- to Succeed. Local youth will be recognized and rewarded for using one of these 3Ds to overcome adversity, build character or power achievement in their own lives. Wizards Player Sections
Wizards players, Antawn Jamison and Andray Blatche, host designated youth groups in the Washington Metropolitan Area at Wizards home games who might not otherwise have the opportunity to attend a game. Click here for more information to be considered as one of these groups.

Butler Basketball Clinic
Caron Butler hosted a free basketball clinic for past participants of his 3D summer basketball camps on Monday, June 22nd at Trinity College. Clinic participants ran through a morning of skill work, drills, and shooting contests for great prizes. Butler Day of Service
