The Timberwolves play the Kings on Saturday night in Sacramento. We take a look at two players who used to play for the Wolves in preparation for the game.

Anthony Tolliver

Tolliver played in Minnesota from 2010 to 2012, playing in 116 games. During his time with the Wolves, Tolliver averaged 5.5 points and 3.9 rebounds per game.

Tolliver began his NBA career in 2008, signing with the San Antonio Spurs. He bounced around with multiple 10-day contracts, until landing in Minnesota in 2010. After his time with the Wolves, he played in Atlanta, Charlotte, Phoenix and Detroit before signing a multi-year contract with Sacramento this offseason.

Tolliver, a 31-year-old Missouri native, is in his ninth NBA season and is on his ninth team. He is averaging four points, 2.5 rebounds and one assist in two games this season.

Kosta Koufos

Koufos spent the 2010-11 season with the Wolves, appearing in 39 games. In that span, he averaged 2.7 points and 2.5 rebounds for Minnesota.

Koufos was selected by the Utah Jazz with the 23rd pick in the 2008 NBA Draft. He went on to play in the D-League until 2010, when he was traded to Minnesota, along with two first-round draft picks, in exchange for Al Jefferson. In 2011, Koufos was traded to the Denver Nuggets as part of the three-team, a million player trade (not really) that sent Carmelo Anthony and Chauncey Billups to the New York Knicks. Koufos was then traded from Denver to the Memphis Grizzlies in 2013 and signed with Sacramento in 2015.

Koufos, a 27-year-old Ohio native, is in his ninth NBA season and is on his sixth team. Through two games this season, he has averaged five points, 5.5 rebounds and two assists per game.
