Minneapolis/St. Paul – The Minnesota Timberwolves today announced the team is hosting a free open scrimmage at Target Center on Monday, Oct. 5 at 7 p.m. Due to the overwhelming popularity of the Wolves’ previous open scrimmage this summer, fans will need to reserve their seats in advance exclusively at www.timberwolves.com starting at 10 a.m. on Sept. 23. This is also the first opportunity for Timberwolves fans to try the new ID-based digital ticketing system Flash Seats that will be implemented for the 2015-16 season. Flash Seats is an innovative paperless ticketing system that provides fans the ability to securely manage their seats at any time, from anywhere, either online or via the Flash Seats mobile app. Ticket holders will simply access the arena using their registered Minnesota Driver’s License, credit card or the Flash Seats mobile app. With Flash Seats authenticity is guaranteed, providing fans protection against lost, stolen or counterfeit tickets while eliminating lengthy waits at will call lines on the night of the game.
The scrimmage tips off the 2015 Timberwolves Training Camp and features the team’s full roster. Target Center doors open at 6 p.m., and concessions and merchandise stands will be open. Season members will have access to a VIP seating area.
