Minneapolis/St. Paul – The Minnesota Timberwolves today announced the team’s 2015 annual Media Day and Training Camp information.
Media Day will be held on Monday, September 28 from 11 am – 2:30 pm at Target Center. Timberwolves General Manager Milt Newton will be available to the media in a press conference setting beginning at 11:00 a.m., followed by interim head coach Sam Mitchell at 11:30 a.m. Players will be available to the media for 10 minutes each beginning at 12:00 p.m.
The Timberwolves will hold the team’s training camp at the Timberwolves and Lynx Courts at Mayo Clinic Square, part of the team’s new training facility that opened in June 2015. Minnesota’s first practice will be held on Tuesday, September 29 from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. with media availability at approximately 12:30 p.m. The Wolves training camp schedule will be highlighted by an open scrimmage at Target Center, scheduled for Monday, October 5 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m.
Following training camp, the Wolves will play seven will play seven exhibition contests, including two games at Target Center, and three off-site games: Friday, Oct. 10 vs. Chicago at MTS Centre in Winnipeg and Wednesday, Oct. 14 vs. Toronto at Canadian Tire Center in Ottawa as part of the NBA Canada Series; and Tuesday, Oct. 20 vs. Milwaukee at Kohl Center in Madison. The Wolves will serve as the home team in Winnipeg and Ottawa and be the visitor in Madison.
