Timberwolves and FOX Sports North Announce 2015-16 Telecast Schedule

Minneapolis/St. Paul – The Minnesota Timberwolves and FOX Sports North today announce a 75-game telecast schedule for the 2015-16 regular season, as well as two preseason games. With the addition of nationally televised games, a total of 79 regular season Wolves games will be televised this season.

FOX Sports North’s regular season coverage begins at 8:30 p.m. Central on Wednesday, Oct. 28 with a one-hour episode of Wolves Live presented by CenturyLink, before the Wolves take on the L.A. Lakers. FOX Sports North also will cover the home opener vs. Portland on Monday, Nov. 2, with Wolves Live pregame coverage starting an hour before tipoff at 6:00 p.m.

All games shown on FOX Sports North also will be streamed live on FOX Sports GO. FOX Sports GO is available to customers of participating pay-TV providers on iOS, Android, Fire tablets and Fire phones, Amazon Fire TV and Fire TV Stick, select Windows devices and online at FOXSportsGO.com. Fans can download the mobile app for free from the iTunes App Store, Google Play, Amazon App Store and Windows Store

Broadcasts will include play-by-play announcer Dave Benz, color analyst Jim Petersen and reporter Marney Gellner. Tom Hanneman will host Wolves Live before and after every game featuring analysis from Kevin Lynch and Quincy Lewis.

The regional sports network will continue to air “Wolves Weekly,” with the new season debuting Friday, Oct 23 -- a special season preview edition.

FOX Sports North’s 75-game schedule includes nine telecasts on FOX Sports North PLUS (channel listings).

The Wolves also have 12 nationally-televised games this season, including one on TNT and four on ESPN: Oct. 28 at Los Angeles Lakers on ESPN, Nov. 12 vs. Golden State on TNT, Jan. 8 vs. Cleveland on ESPN, Jan. 15 at Oklahoma City on ESPN and Feb. 3 at Los Angeles Clippers on ESPN. NBA TV games include: Dec. 15 vs. Denver, Jan. 19 at New Orleans, Jan. 25 at Cleveland, Jan. 31 at Portland, Feb. 2 at L.A. Lakers, Feb. 28 at Dallas and March 8 vs. San Antonio.
