Shootaround Access - Feb. 9 | Wolves vs. Hawks

The Minnesota Timberwolves have won three straight games. That's good news.

Minnesota received some more good news this morning as it appears that Shabazz Muhammad will suit up tonight for the Timberwolves against the Atlanta Hawks. How long he'll play, though, is still up in the air.

"We haven't really talked about a restriction yet," Muhammad said. "I feel good. My energy is there. No pain, so I can't wait to get out there tonight and finally get on the court."

Muhammad will likely come off the bench and fans can probably expect to see him around 15-20 minutes tonight. Muhammad has been out since Jan. 9 with an oblique injury. On the season, the second-year wing is averaging 13.7 points and four rebounds per game. He's been a bright spot for the Wolves and took advantage of the opportunity he's gotten this season. It will be interesting to see what lineups head coach Flip Saunders uses tonight. It's the first time he's had this many players healthy since the beginning of November.

Center Nikola Pekovic will play tonight after playing last night in Detroit. Saunders said that there was a chance Pekovic could sit out one game in back-to-backs. Ricky Rubio, who did not play last night, will play tonight.
