Roster Review | Jordan Hill

PF/C | 6-10, 235 lbs

2016-17 season: 7 games, 1.7 PPG, 2.0 RPG, 0.1 SPG

Hill, a 2009 first-round pick, has been in the league for a while. He’s spent time with the Knicks, Rockets, Lakers, Pacers and as of last season, the Minnesota Timberwolves.

His role is more that of a mentor role at this point in his career, something that he and coach Tom Thibodeau eluded to before last season started.

The former Arizona star appeared in seven games and played in 6.7 minutes per game during those games, but the real impact came in the locker room and at practice.

Top Three Games Of The Season

3.) Dec. 25 at Oklahoma City Thunder

In this game, Hill finished with four points, six rebounds and a steal in nearly 18 minutes off the bench.

2.) Nov. 1 vs. Memphis Grizzlies

In this 116-80 home win over Memphis, Hill played just four minutes and 30 seconds off the bench, but finished with four points and three rebounds while shooting 2-for-3 from the field.

1.)  Nov. 5 at Oklahoma City Thunder

Hill’s best game of the season came in this 112-92 road loss to the Thunder. Hill played six minutes off the bench and finished with two points and three rebounds. He committed no turnovers and was a +4 in limited action.

Top Offseason Objectives

For Hill, who will be 30 when next season starts, the most important thing is to stay in basketball shape and be ready when training camp starts in September.

Role for 2017-18?

Hill will likely play the mentor role in 2017-18 as well as being a big who can come off the bench at times.
