2014 Taste Of The Timberwolves
February 28, 2014
Welcome to the 2014 Taste of the Timberwolves! The event, which raises money for the FastBreak Foundation, took place on Feb. 20 at Target Center and brought fans and players together for a great cause. Fans were able to meet the players, take pictures, get autographs, taste some of the Twin Cities' greatest fare and much more. In this first photo, Gorgui Dieng takes a photo with a young fan early on in the event.
Food vendors from all over the Twin Cities attended the event, and the players were there at different stations to chat with fans as they tried the different types of food. Luc Richard Mbah a Moute was there at this particular station.

This was J.J. Barea's third Taste of the Timberwolves event. He, along with his teammates, showed off their fashion sense with some stylish suits.
Speaking of fashion, here's Kevin Martin posing with a fan outside the SkyDeck Sports Grill & Lounge and Bar 508 stations.

These kids had fun getting autographs throughout the day.
After the food-tasting and mingling portion of the event, the Wolves and fans moved to the south half of the arena. That's where the live auction and games took place.
One of the things the Timberwolves purchased with the 2013 Taste of the Timberwolves donated money was a bookmobile that goes around to local schools and helps kids develop a passion for reading. The bookmobile was on display during this year's Taste event.
The Wolves play a couple rounds of games at the end of the night. This year included a mashups game, which showed two Timberwolves players' faces mashed together into one portrait, and there was also a game that included putting players in the right chronological order based on the question.
Rookies Gorgui Dieng and Shabazz Muhammad attempt to decipher which to Wolves players were mashed into this particular image. No doubt Alexey Shved was one.
The Wolves take part in one more game, which included putting Nikola Pekovic's head on different actors in a movie.
