Caravan Stops Include Duluth, St. Cloud, Rochester
The Timberwolves are set to embark on the 2011 U.S. Bank/Minnesota Timberwolves Summer Caravan, presented by Fox Sports North, which will hit the road on Monday, June 20 and make stops in Duluth, St. Cloud and Rochester. Wolves guard Wayne Ellington and forward Anthony Tolliver will headline this summer's Caravan events. Over the past 21 years, the Timberwolves Caravan has made 94 stops across Minnesota and the upper Midwest.

The U.S. Bank/Timberwolves Caravan, presented by Fox Sports North, is designed to thank Wolves fans in Minnesota for their continued support. The Caravan features an array of activities in three communities outside the Twin Cities metro area. Among the events slated for the tour are free basketball clinics that are open to the public, autograph sessions following the conclusion of the clinics, and appearances by Timberwolves mascot Crunch. After the Caravan opens on June 20 in Duluth, the tour will push on to St. Cloud on Tuesday, June 21 and conclude in Rochester on Wednesday, Junes 22. All ages are welcome to the clinics and no registration is required.

Along with Ellington and Tolliver, Timberwolves player development coach Darrick Martin is scheduled to participate in the Caravan. In addition, Crunch, the team's official mascot, and Timberwolves front-office staff are slated to take part. Crunch will be making special visits at various sites in each community.

Ellington, Tolliver and Martin will be available for interviews prior to and during the caravan. Please contact Dan Bell in the Timberwolves' Public Relations department at (612) 673-1603 or bell@timberwolves.com to arrange an interview.
