In a continuing effort to meet the sales, sponsorship and marketing demands of the Twin Cities' area and the Greater Minnesota region, the Minnesota Timberwolves and Lynx announced the hiring of 13 inside sales representatives, seven season ticket sales representatives and three group sales representatives.

"Our sales organization is growing to meet the demands of the market," said Timberwolves and Lynx president Chris Wright." "We have decided to be very aggressive from a sales and marketing standpoint and to accomplish our goals, we felt a need to expand our staff."

The new inside sales team includes: Christopher Baldock, Scott Blanchard, Kevin Brown, Kelly Freed, Michael Fuhrman, and Ryan Miller. Additionally, the organization has hired Kristine Olson, Dionne Rushin, Jason Smith, Stephen Swearengin, Lois Zins, Bryan Wright and Cole Berhow. The new team will focus their attention on high-volume outbound calls to area businesses to generate revenue for the team. This group will report directly to inside sales manager Mike Meyer.

New Timberwolves and Lynx season ticket sales representatives include: Grant Austin, Chad Novotny, Paul Paradis, Dana Quinn, Bryan Schmidt, Peter Wang and Brad Waldman. The group will be responsible for selling season tickets for both the Timberwolves and Lynx. They will also be responsible for day-to-day communication with their clients and handling additional sales and marketing objectives as assigned by senior director of ticket sales Bryant Pfeiffer.

The new trio of group sales representatives, Erica Noah, Dwayne Toatley and Kyle Vitense, will be responsible for selling group tickets for both teams. In addition to driving revenue, the group sales department is responsible for creating long-term client relationships within the community. Pfeiffer also oversees this group.

"The restructuring of our ticket sales department creates both a dedicated season and group sales area," said Timberwolves and Lynx vice president of ticket sales and premium seating Ryan Tanke. "We will focus our additional resources on growing and enhancing our current relationships, while aggressively pursuing new fans and partnerships in the marketplace."

The Timberwolves sell customized sponsorship packages to help companies of all sizes meet their business goals and objectives. In addition to in-arena signage and promotions, the Timberwolves also control advertising inventory for all of their radio and over-the-air television broadcasts.
