On the final day of practice before the season opener on Wednesday night, the Wolves received an emotional boost with the return of Jonny Flynn. While the Wolves point guard was only cleared for limited practice, he generated some buzz on the floor. The next step for Flynn is to find his stride and regain the explosive first step from last season.

"Just getting my conditioning back together, being away for three months where you really can't get in good conditioning, you get a little out of shape," Flynn explained. "The best athletes in the world get out of shape during a time like that, so just some conditioning and getting some more strength in my leg."

Heading into his second season, Flynn did not want to specifically state a date for a full return to the court, "This is just an injury that you have to be cautious with. Even though I'm fully cleared to go out and practice, it's still my body and I have to listen to it."

Speaking of injuries, head coach Kurt Rambis told the media that Sebastian Telfair and Wes Johnson are expected to play on Wednesday night against the Kings. The Wolves will miss Martell Webster after the guard / forward underwent a procedure on his back.

Sacramento marches into town without Tyreke Evans in the lineup due to a league mandated one-game suspension. Check out the complete scouting report tomorrow morning at 10 AM on www.timberwolves.com.
