Game Night Spotlight: "It Takes Two" By Rob Base
The Timberwolves 25th Anniversary season kicked off Wednesday night and there was no shortage of “vintage” moments. One that brought Wolves fans back in was the “throwback” halftime performance courtesy of Rob Base and his DJ crew. 1st generation Timberwolves fans may remember Base from his 1988 hit “It Takes Two,” which he performed in front of the opening night crowd at Target Center. Back in the day, the track ranked number 3 on the US Hot Dance Club Party Billboard Charts. Base, dressed in a retro Kevin Love jersey, brought the beats and excitement to the crowd, who seemed to be jamming to the “old school” performance.
