About Last Night | Unexpected Blowout In San Antonio

The Rockets came out guns blazing in Monday night’s 126-99 blowout win over the Spurs in San Antonio.

It was the Spurs’ worst home loss in postseason history.

Houston made 22 (!) out of 50 3-pointers (44 percent) on its way to the win.

Among those to hit 3-pointers for Houston: Trevor Ariza (5), Ryan Anderson (4), James Harden (3), Eric Gordon (3), Patrick Beverley (2), Lou Williams (2), Sam Dekker (1), Bobby Brown (1) and Kyle Witjler (1).

Harden led Houston with 20 points and 14 rebounds while Clint Capela added 20 points and 13 rebounds.

For the Spurs, Kawhi Leonard finished with 21 points, 11 rebounds and six assists, but only Tony Parker and Jonathon Simmons scored more than 10 points.

It’s only one game and we probably shouldn’t overreact, but my goodness did San Antonio look overmatched.

Game 2 is set for Wednesday in San Antonio at 8:30 p.m. The game will air on TNT.

Still The King

LeBron James led Cleveland to a 116-105 home win over the Raptors. James finished with 35 points and 10 rebounds, proving that he’s still probably the best basketball player in the league.

The other two members of Cleveland’s Big 3 stepped up, too. Kyrie Irving finished with 24 points and 10 assists, while Kevin Love added 18 points and nine rebounds.

This isn’t new for a Raptors team that was down 2-1 to the Bucks in the first round. With that being said, the Bucks don’t have LeBron James, Kyrie Irving or Kevin Love.

Game 2 is set for Wednesday at 6 p.m. in Cleveland. Tipoff is set for 6 p.m.

Tonight, we've got the Wizards at Celtics and Jazz at Warriors. Give me the Wizards and Warriors.

Until tomorrow, good friends.
