The Pacers led the Cavaliers 74-49 going in the third quarter in Indiana on Thursday night.
Finally, the Pacers were going to take down the mighty Cavs. After falling by a combined seven points in the two previous games, it was about time.
Wait.
The Pacers blew the lead?
They blew a 25-point lead in 24 minutes?
Oh goodness gracious.
The Cavs won 119-114, outscoring the Pacers 70-40 in the second half to take a demanding 3-0 lead in the series.
Who led the comeback, you ask?

LeBron James finished with a game-high 41 points to go with 13 rebounds, 12 assists, two blocks and a steal to lead Cleveland.
Yo Monta. Where you going?
Paul George led Indiana with 36 points, 15 rebounds and nine assists but shot just 10-for-28 from the field and 5-for-15 from the 3-point line.
Game 4 will be on Sunday at noon in Indiana.
Giannis Is Not One Of Us
What if I told you someone could block shots with their elbow after getting beat by three feet on a drive?
It probably wouldn’t surprise you anymore because this is just what Giannis does.
The Bucks beat the Raptors 104-77 to take a surprising 2-1 lead over the No. 3 Raptors. Giannis had a ho-hum game with 19 points, eight rebounds, four assists, two steals and two blocks while shooting an efficient 7-for-10 from the field and 2-for-2 from the 3-point line.
It’s trouble in paradise for the Raptors. It’s only one game, but the Raptors haven’t looked particularly scary in any of the three games this series. Obviously, Kyle Lowry and DeMar DeRozan will score more than 21 combined points and DeRozan won’t shoot 0-for-8 for the rest of the series, but if you’re a Raptors fan, you should be concerned.
Game 4 will be on Saturday at 2 p.m. in Milwaukee.

After looking downright atrocious in the first two games of the series, the Dave Fizdales beat the Spurs 105-94, giving them one win to San Antonio’s two in the series.
It was led by a 31-17 third quarter run from Memphis. Fizdale inserted big boy Zach Randolph into the starting lineup, who should be the team’s mascot, and he contributed with 21 points, as did Marc Gasol. The forever underrated Mike Conley finished with 24 points and eight assists, shooting 7-for-13 from the field.
I would write more about this game but it started at 8:30 p.m. and I’m 27 going on 70 and staying up later than 10 p.m. is really hard.
Game 3 is set for Saturday at 7 p.m. in Memphis.
