Suns to Launch Bar Vektor on Saturday

Posted: Nov. 15, 2012

The Phoenix Suns and US Airways Center will debut the newly branded Bar Vektor prior to the team’s highly anticipated matchup against the Miami Heat on Saturday, November 17. Suns President, Jason Rowley, and Vektor Vodka CEO, Mark Williams, will raise a glass to the new partnership at 6 p.m.

Legal drinking aged fans will receive a free sample of two different Suns-themed cocktails made with Vektor Vodka, and will be asked to vote on their favorite. The Suns-themed Vektor cocktail with the most fan votes will be featured at Bar Vektor throughout the season.

Fans attending the pre-game party will also receive a $3 off coupon for one Vektor Vodka cocktail, while supplies last, as well as photo opportunities with Russian-dressed Vektor models and entertainment by the Suns Solar Squad and PHX Percussion.

“Bar Vektor is another step in our ongoing effort to provide additional social and upscale gathering areas at US Airways Center,” said Rowley. “Vektor Vodka is an ultra-premium product, a perfect fit for the high-end experience we strive to offer fans every time they step into our arena.”

Bar Vektor is designed with Vektor’s trademark black and gold colors, features flat screen TV’s and will seat approximately 130 guests. In addition to serving a variety of Vektor cocktails, beer and wine, the bar is the only place in the Center that will sell a variety of hamburgers and French fries.

Accessible to all patrons in the building, Bar Vektor is located on the east side of the lower level concourse outside Sections 102-104. It will be open for all Phoenix Suns and Phoenix Mercury home games, along with most US Airways Center events.

“We’re excited be a part of the legacy that both the Phoenix Suns and US Airways Center represent,” said Williams. “They are dedicated to the same uncompromising quality that we pride ourselves to have in every bottle of Vektor Vodka.”

A limited number of tickets are still available for the Suns-Heat matchup, and can be purchased at Suns.com/tickets or by calling 1-800-4NBA-TIX.
