In hopes of starting this year’s run of Pick N’ Pop episodes on a high note, I decided to tip-off the season premiere by discussing my favorite topic in pop culture: comic book superheroes. The problem did not come in deciding which player would be best equipped to debate this subject with me, but rather on how in the world I was going to limit my list to just five heroes.
Luckily, Channing Frye had no problems expanding his list beyond a top five, and Pick N’ Pop history was made as we each extended our lists to ten. But as accommodating as Channing was to the adjustment, there was a glaring omission from his list that I strongly objected to.
