Suns Announce New Partnership with Toyota

Posted: Sept. 14, 2006

The Phoenix Suns and Toyota have entered into a multi-faceted, multi-year partnership agreement that includes a new venue inside US Airways Center – the Toyota Club. This Club will be located in the lower level concourse and will open when the Suns take on the Los Angeles Clippers in the pre-season home opener on October 17th.

“We are committed to continually evolving to provide Suns fans with the best experience possible. The new Toyota Club will provide guests with a comfortable social atmosphere to enjoy during Suns games,” said Sam Garvin, Vice Chairman for the Phoenix Suns. “Our partnership will also enhance the Suns’ and Toyota’s presence in the community through a new outreach initiative.”

The Toyota Club will feature complimentary dining and beverage privileges in a relaxed upscale environment and will also include an outdoor patio located on Jefferson Street for fans seated in designated areas of US Airways Center. In addition, a unique vehicle display will provide Suns fans an up-close look at the latest Toyota models.

As part of the partnership, the Suns and Toyota will collaborate on the renovation of a Phoenix area Live, Learn & Play Center each season, which will benefit at-risk youth.

"The Valley Toyota Dealers are excited about our new relationship with the Phoenix Suns” said John O’Malley President, Valley Toyota Dealers Association. “The addition of the new Toyota Club at the Center was a terrific branding opportunity that we couldn’t pass up. We look forward to a great partnership in the coming years.”
