Suns Announce 2010 NBA Summer League Roster

The Phoenix Suns today announced the roster that will compete in the 2010 Las Vegas Summer League. The 14-man team is highlighted by second-year players Earl Clark and Taylor Griffin, both of whom will make their second summer league appearance. The pair is joined by Suns’ 2010 draft picks Gani Lawal (46th overall selection) and Dwayne Collins (60th overall). Collins will not play as he recovers from recent knee surgery.

Suns legend and assistant coach Dan Majerle returns to serve as head coach of the summer league team for the third-straight season. Also included on the Suns’ roster is 2009-10 consensus first team All-American Scottie Reynolds (Villanova), and local products Lawrence Hill (Stanford), who played at Deer Valley High School in Glendale, Gavin Edwards (UCONN), who played at Mesquite High School in Gilbert, and Ryan Toolson (Utah Valley), who played at Gilbert High School.

All five of the Suns’ 2010 Summer League games can be seen on NBA TV and NBA Summer League Broadband online. Three of those contests will air live on NBA TV: July 9 vs. Houston, July 10 vs. Toronto, July 15 vs. Golden State.
