Summer Suns' Roster, Schedule Announced

The Phoenix Suns begin two-a-day workouts in Phoenix on Wednesday, July 11, in preparation for the 2012 NBA Summer League in Las Vegas, Nevada from July 15-21. The 15-man team is highlighted by Suns’ 2012 first-round pick Kendall Marshall (13th overall) and Suns’ second-year player Markieff Morris. The pair is joined by Suns assistant coach Dan Majerle, who returns to serve as head coach of the summer league team for the fourth-straight season.

Phoenix tips off its summer league schedule with one of their two live broadcasts on NBA TV at 1 p.m. on Sunday, July 15, versus the New York Knicks. All five games on the Suns schedule will be played at COX Pavilion and the Thomas & Mack Center on the campus of UNLV.

Prior to their departure to Las Vegas, the Suns will hold six practice sessions from July 11-13 on the Annexus Group Practice Court at US Airways Center. Media availability will take place at approximately noon, following the conclusion of each morning session.
