Phoenix Suns To Host Basketball Clinic In Indian Wells

The Phoenix Suns will host a basketball clinic with 50 students from Gerald Ford Elementary School at the Indian Wells Tennis Garden in Indian Wells, CA on Friday, Oct. 10 beginning at 1:30 p.m. The clinic is a precursor to the Suns/Nuggets NBA outdoor game on Saturday, Oct. 11 at the Indian Wells Tennis Garden.

The clinic will be hosted by Suns alumni Ced Ceballos and Mark West, Phoenix Mercury Head Coach Corey Gaines, and Phoenix Mercury General Manager and Suns Vice President Ann Meyers Drysdale. Students were chosen by their teachers to participate in the clinic based on good behavior and attendance.

INFO: The NBA’s first outdoor game of the modern era will take place when the Phoenix Suns host the Denver Nuggets in a preseason game on Saturday, Oct. 11 at the Indian Wells Tennis Garden, the second largest tennis stadium in the world. The 16,000-seat stadium is an NBA-style arena with no roof located in a spectacular desert setting. The game is set to tip-off at 7:10 p.m. and will be televised nationally, exclusively on TNT.
