Now Hiring: Accounts Payable Clerk

The Phoenix Suns Accounting Department is currently recruiting for a full-time, salaried Accounts Payable Clerk.

Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Ensuring all invoices submitted have been authorized (coded and signed) by appropriate managers
  • Collecting and organizing supporting documents to process invoices
  • Processing check runs
  • Resolving all vendor and internal department inquiries
  • Maintaining accurate files for all A/P records
  • Processing A/P reports and schedules
  • Reviewing and processing all employee expense reports
  • Performing other duties as required by management
  • Skills and qualifications needed:

  • Previous accounts payable experience
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and 10-key by touch
  • Microsoft Great Plains experience (a plus)
  • A proactive self starter with a demonstrated ability to manage tight deadlines and multitask
  • Attention to detail and the ability to follow up and follow through
  • Must possess the ability to work independently, as well as be a team player in a fast-paced environment
