No. 3, Chandler Parsons
(On how impressed he is by the Suns)
”They are up and coming. They are a good team. They play really fast. Goran (Dragic) is an All-Star in my eyes. He is really, really good and in transition. He is unguardable.
”They have a lot of shooters that can space the floor. Gerald Green is having a great year. (P.J.) Tucker is a really good defender. They have a lot of pieces that they can do a lot of stuff with.”
No. 2, Jeff Hornacek
(On Tuesday's loss against Chicago)
"We could never get it going, we could never get over the hump. Every time we had a little run something crazy happened. We were on a nice run there and Goran takes off with the break and Boozer steals it and then they throw it and hit a three, that was big momentum. Then I think we cut it back down again and Noah throws a runner that banks in – so I guess it just wasn’t meant to be.
”We didn’t come out in the beginning. That’s the difference of a team that really gets after it defensively and makes it tough on all the shots – are they fouls, are they good plays? Our guys have to realize that’s the way they play and that’s the way the game’s going so you have to be stronger with it. They took us out of our stuff, but we let them do whatever they wanted.”
No. 1, Rockets coach Kevin McHale
(In the Houston Chronicle on Goran Dragic’s emergence)
”I saw Goran do the same things for 20 games or whatever it was when Kyle Lowry was hurt when he was here with us.
“It was very impressive. I have seen him do it before and (Phoenix coach Jeff) Hornacek has opened it up for him. He runs up and down the floor. He attacks. He is just a clever guy with the ball. He is a very good basketball player. I think that he has been for awhile.”
